There is a new transgender bar here in our tiny sedate little Korean town. English words get mis-applied, mis-used, and misunderstood on signs here all the time. I went in with a small group of equally curious girlfriends, and it turns out, yep, the proprietors completely understand the concept of transgender, which came as a mild surprise. The bulky kimono costume hides his/her curves in the photo, but they were there (lots of curves) when the robes came off.
